In this very short video I want to show that the copper pipe with about 60 inches of magnesium wire wrapped tightly around it works very well.
This is a replication of several other people who have been working with this very portable hand made battery. (Lasersaber, Lidmotor, Slayer007)
I have also made one like this with a carbon rod and magnesium. Because carbon is more difficult to find and breaks easily, I was hoping that the copper pipe could work as well, and I think it does. So far, I see no disadvantage to using the copper pipe. I need to wet both of them at least to moistness.
Also, I put some oil onto the magnesium as lidmotor suggested, and it all seems good!
